VEGGIE PACKED BEEF PATTIES

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 2 slices of bread

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup fresh herbs (e.g. parsley, mint, coriander)

  • 250g mushrooms

  • 500g beef mince

  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

  • 2 eggs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 200c.
  • Place onion, garlic, bread, salt, mushrooms and herbs into a food processor. Blend until ‘mince like’ texture. Not too fine.
  • Place in a mixing bowl. Add mince, worcestershire sauce and eggs. Mix well.
  • Roll and pat down gently into patties.
  • Place in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip. Return to oven for 5 minutes for the other side to brown.
  • Serve with sweet potato chips & salad.
